Can I Have a Server Wheel It Around to Serve Drinks?

Today I received a message from a potential customer who asked this question: “… would I be able to use this at an event and have a server wheel it around to serve drinks? Or is it meant to be more stationary?” This one was easy to answer: “Yes, of course, this is exactly what the SkyCart™ and all airline trolleys are made for. They are designed to be used in a flying commercial airliner and will be pushed up and down the aisles all the time.” Then, I noticed, that on our web site we do not really explain […]

Their idea was to connect some of the most important aviation hubs in the Far East with a fleet a Jumbo Jets. They would all be configured in just one class – international business class. In the following months they defined more details and had a staff of aviation experts create the operating and marketing plans. At the time, the purchase prices for used four engine Boeing 747s on the market for used airliners had come down considerably. The established […]

Why Does a SkyCart have a Dry Ice Drawer?

This is the Dry Ice Drawer. It comes with every SkyCart. You do not need to order it separately, it is part of the basic SkyCart. This Dry Ice Drawer is part of the original ATLAS standard. At the time the airlines filled these drawers with dry ice to keep the food cool during the long flights. Today, some still use it that way. Other airlines have installed refrigerated bays where they park their airline trolleys during long flights. At home, in the office, or at an event you might still use the drawer to keep food items cool. You […]

How to Wrap a Skycart as Birthday Gift

Yes, it can be done. You will need quite a lot of wrapping paper but the size and weight (only 29 lbs. empty) don’t prevent wrapping. Look at this one: We ship our airline trolleys in heavy card board boxes. The size is 42″x18″x14″ and the shipping weight is 34 lbs. for an empty SkyCart. This is what the shipping box looks like: Inside, the SkyCart is protected by styrofoam sheets. Once you lift (or roll) it out of its box you can use it right away. There is absolutely no assembly required.

SkyCarts Serve at Chicago’s Soldier Stadium

If you visit the VIP Lounge at Soldier Stadium in Chicago you will have a chance to order a cocktail straight from one of our SkyCarts: They had their own graphics department design the decoration for the SIP & SOAR and AVIATOR Craft Cocktails SkyCarts. What could be more appropriate than to serve AVIATOR Craft Cocktails from an airline trolley? We modified the SkyCarts slightly so that they can display a flag. This way they are easier to spot in a lounge which  might get crowded at times.
